Spies Cruise

Something doesn't seem quite right. The passengers seem normal, the cruise seems just like any other cruise, but there was something not quite right about everything. The ship is slowing down and seems to be a little close to the island out there. Come to think of it some of the crew seem.......different.

There is something going on because many passengers have been spending a long time together, with charts and books. Then there are others who are rushing about with Faxes and messages from the Radio Room. It's as if they are planning something. But this is only a Cruise Ship. Isn't it?

Spies Cruise in the 1990's - The Original Sailing Adventure

Today the Spies Cruise game is being planned as a vitual exercise in espionage entertainment, but it was originally created as a real life experience from an actual cruise ship.

It was hailed as the best Spies entertainment ever. Using a Cruise Ship as a base for teams to land on an enemy beach and steal the vital secrets from under the noses of the guards. Decoding signals, creating maps, planning and finally under cover of darkness landing on the beaches. Every one loved the idea during the 1990's and cooperation was outstanding. It would have made a great reality TV series. Well now it might just become that.

The Ship

enchisle.jpg (14697 bytes)The ship was the ideal size, and layout. We did two trips around the Caribbean in her and really got to know the crew. A team of lawyers had finally drafted the liability clauses, and we were poised to go. (For those who wonder why there are not more adventure opportunities like Spies Cruise in the USA, it's because the Ambulance Chasers make life hell, by convincing anyone who slips, or get's a splinter to sue! Maybe Vice President Cheney had the right idea. Shoot a Lawyer!)

Unfortunately the cruise line ceased operations at the end of 2000. By the time we had reworked the plan the United States was in a fit of paranoia over 9/11 and the potential invasion of sabateurs from ships. A great entertainment project was placed on hold till the waters calm down.

We really enjoyed the experience and would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Captains, and crews of the Enchanted Isle, for all their assistance in developing the concept for Spies Cruise, first in November 1998, and again in April 2000.

Because of the increased interest we are again developing the concept for Spies Cruise to become part of the Spy Games series. And today we have our own radio and TV production facilities.
